Christian Louboutin’s new eponymous book(Chrisitan Louboutin) launches on Oct 26, 2011 ; the tome takes a look back at the cobber’s 20 years of shoemaking through the lens of his closest friends and customers—women like Dita von Teese and Kristin Scott Thomas. Luckily, the making of the book was caught on camera which makes for some lively commentary on Louboutin’s career. Red soles adorned the feet of models and socialites alike as guests gathered when he settled in a plush armchair to hand out signed copies of the much anticipated book.
The work is nonfiction, and goes deep into the art behind Louboutin’s eccentric and unique designs. It presents“a very personal look at the man behind the
Christian Louboutin outlet .” One of fashions modern day pioneers, Louboutin has made a place for himself in the world of couture fashion, and the book uses picture and prose to document his over 20 years of design. It includes personal photos, as well as contributions from some of his most cherished clients.
